Dr. Bruce Akuna, DO
Dr. Akuna graduated from Kansas City University of Medical and Biosciences and completed his residency at Altoona Family Medicine.
He is a caring Physician who has dedicated his professional life to improving the health of his patients through a trusted family medical clinic. Most comment that they love his willingness to listen and provide effective medical care.
Deborah Blinzler, FNP
Deborah is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience. She graduated from the St John's School of Nursing in Springfield. In 2016, she completed additional training as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner through the University of Central Missouri.
Deborah and her husband live in Southwest Missouri and are kept busy with 10 grandchildren!
Susan Bounous, FNP
Susan has practiced family medicine in Southwest Missouri for over 20 years. She has a passion for wellness and prevention and loves helping patients live their best lives.
Outside of her family medical clinic , she loves baking, spending time on the lake, and hanging out with her three children and one grandbaby.
Regan Martin, ARNP
Regan was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri and has 21 years experience as a Registered Nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner.
Regan is a licensed clinician and is dedicated to expanding access to care and transforming health and wellness through patient-centered, team-based medical practice.
Amanda Harrell DO FACP DABOM, Medical Director
Dr. Harrell has proudly served the Joplin community since 2016. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University in Kansas City and completed her residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, She also serves as adjunct faculty for Kansas City University in Joplin. She believes in meeting patients where they are and partnering with them to take ownership of their health.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Nathan Box, DO, FAOCO-HNS, FAAOA
Dr. Box is a board-certified ear, nose, and throat specialist, allergy doctor, and surgeon. He graduated from Kansas City University of Medical and Biosciences and completed his residency at Freeman Health System.
He is an explorer, adventurer, painter, runner, hunter, and most of all--a father.
